Welcome to Kungfu Video and Dvd, New England largest selection of classic Kungfu movies on dvd , and smoking accessories (rolling papers, grinders, glass).  Since 2001, we have proudly served the community with the latest kung fu, urban, anime movies, books,apparel and smoking accessories. For over 20 years Kungfu Video and Dvd has been a staple of Downtown Boston with some of the rarest sought after collectables and products.

Our Story

Before Kung Fu Video opened, We were frustrated when we could not find our favorite kung fu, urban, or anime movies on vhs on the shelves at stores such as Blockbuster, Strawberries, and Newbury Comics. We always felt that this customer niche was not being served. There is a large customer base of fans who enjoy watching this genre. To find the latest kung fu, urban, or anime movies we had to take trips to New York. That's why we thought Boston was a perfect market to start a entertainment store that specializes in these types of movies. Of course,

there were other stores that have these niche movies, but not to the extent that we

envisioned. That is how Kung Fu Video came to light.

In 2001, Kung Fu Video, New England's largest selection of kung fu movies on

vhs was born. We started first with over 500 titles of kung fu movies on vhs and later transitioned to dvds. We also carried knives, swords, music cds, t-shirts, and Bruce Lee posters. To keep up with the changing tastes of our customers and technology, we had to evolve. A lot of movies was easily accessible for free from the internet and eating at our bottom line. So we thought about what other products that we can offer our customers. Our commitment to serve the demands of our customers and society's acceptance of the cannabis industry has led us to expand our merchandise to include a variety of other products such as vaporizers, cbd,rolling paprers, grinders,and other smoking accessories. Today in 2022 we are a dvd store/ smoke shop. The acceptance of this specialty niche store has been overwhelming and we look forward to the future and the next 20 more years in the growth of our company.
